Episode Notes: "The Blue Line"

I have kind of mixed emotions about this episode. I *adored* Fraser and Ray in it with deep love for both of them. But I found Mark Smithbauer almost intolerable. Until the end.
I wish shows wouldn't do that--set up a character as an intolerable ass and then, in about two minutes of screentime, turn them around so we're supposed to be all sympathetic with them. Very frustrating! The Sentinel does it all the time, and it's always frustrating.
On the other hand, I'm very amused that instead of a Babe Of The Week, this episode had a Hunk Of The Week. :D
On the whole, I did really enjoy it, especially Fraser and Ray who rocked my socks.
(Notes on watching The Blue Line (with a bunch of screencaps) over at my place...)
