Okay, I think I still have to deal with Victoria and the fallout therefrom in this episode.
::wibble::
I realize that it's not at all realistic for traumatic things to happen to the heroes of a show and for everything to be back to normal the next week. I get that.
But sometimes I wish the show's writers didn't.
For one thing, I don't mind them leaving the trauma aftermath to the fanfic writers, who generally do abetter good job with it. For another...well, damn it, I've just spent two weeks on the trauma. Unless they can give me some damn fine comfort, it's just going to be more of that trauma, right?.
After-watching note: That was some good damn comfort and I'm feeling better about everything about this show now!
Just a heads up for folks I have OMG *such* a crush on Laurie Holden, so there are quite a number of pictures of Jill here (and it was a seriously ear-splitting squee when I saw her). She's just so pretty and has that wonderful voice and her tummy's on display here which is just....mmmmm...and her eyes and her hair. And I *love* Jill too. So anyway, be warned.
So on the whole a wonderfully slashy, sweet, comforting episode!
spikedluv has an awesome collection of quotes from Letting Go over at her LJ. You should definitely go check them out because there was so much wonderful in this episode. And she caught it all!
