Ok. So he was deaf, and he wasn’t even a full wolf. But that didn’t mean he was stupid. He knew exactly what his human was doing when he went all furless and sweaty and panting in the night. Just because he couldn’t hear, it didn’t mean he couldn’t see the movement, couldn’t smell the musk, couldn’t feel the cot rocking so hard it made him seriously consider the cold hard Consulate floor as a temporary sleeping place.
And he could lip-read; Ben shouldn’t forget that. It was ironic that he’d seen the Ray-human mimicking similar actions on the many occasions that the pack of 3 had come together to spend the night. He always stared at Ben with this predatory glint in his eye – you didn’t need to be full wolf to recognise hunger and want - the mini den of blankets moving in slow purposeful jerks. He couldn’t hear the sigh that passed through the human’s muzzle as he screwed up his eyes, but he could lip-read the name that followed.
Those long flexible paws were definitely one of the species’ better evolutions. Some times he even wished for something similar himself; it would make eating pizza a lot easier. But when it came to satisfying the most basic urges, nothing could beat getting a leg in a good wolf-hug and humping.
He really couldn’t see why his Ben and the Ray-human didn’t just get together and hump each other.

Sorry, I write odd stuff when I'm tired. While I'm here I may as well pimp another piece of Due South oddness I've written its a cross over, so I doubt it belongs here on its own, but there is Fraser/implied many people, (inc Ray), and naked aroused Fraser involved.... ^_~
