ADMIN: Good For the Soul Challenge

The Holiday Season is upon us and we’re going to celebrate in style here at ds_slash with a Good For the Soul Challenge. *g*

The challenge? Write fic based on the episode Good For the Soul, whether it’s a tag, a missing scene, or a partial or complete rewrite, or make us graphics using caps from the ep, or a music vid using clips from the episode.

Any pairing, rating, or genre will be accepted (subject to the comm rules, of course!). Fic must be a minimum of 1000 words and must be complete (ie, not part one of several). Graphics may be anything—icons, banners, wallpapers, manips, etc—so long as they’re from the episode.

Please submit your fic, graphic or vid to the comm by December 31st. Your submission does not have to be exclusive to ds_slash. All submissions will be saved in Memories. If we receive at least three (3) submissions in each category, there will be a poll to vote for your favorite story/graphic. ::tempts you to write:: All participants will receive a pretty button.

We look forward to all the wonderful submissions.

ADMIN Challenge: Fraser and his boxers

It's the weekend! And it's almost winter! So let's talk Fraser's underwear! (What? Like I really EVER need an excuse to talk about Fraser's underwear? *bg*)

We have a screencap here from the Season 1 Episode Diefenbaker's Day Off. Based on the screencap, write us a drabble! Give us a caption! Make us an icon! Or a wallpaper! Or a photo collage! You get the idea... We're an easy going group here so all we want is the boxers and Fraser and maybe, if we're lukcy, someone getting into Fraser's boxers... Hmmm... *bg*

Any pairing! Any rating! There's no time limit - so be creative. And have fun!

Halloween has arrived just in time for our first official challenge here at ds_slash!

Trick or Treat. All Hallow’s Eve. That time of the year when ghosts and goblins come out to play, and when the veil between two worlds is at it’s thinnest. (And as sori1773 pointed out, due South comes complete with its own ghosts! *g*)

The challenge? Write us Halloween-themed fic or make us Halloween-themed graphics.
