I've been converting a friend of mine for a while now to the goodness of all things dueSouth. It's been slow going, and we're leaving college in a matter of days hours. We're gotten through disk one of Season 1, but I want her to get a taste of RayK before we part for the next few months (we'll see eachother over the summer sometime and we're roommate next semester, so I'll still get her to watch everything *devious*) and I'm unsure as to which episode to show her.

I was thinking about "Asylum" because it showcases RayK (and his ghey), Canadian humor, Curling, Turnbull, and Fraser with handcuffs and smartassed comments. I have to say that it's got the lead so far.

My favorite episodes are all the big ones and the two parters, but I don't want to have them ruined right away with no previous knowledge or buildup.

So, I come to you all for help. What should I do?

I'd go for Burning Down the House. There's a hug and there's window putty sandwiches and there's the beautiful smile on Ray's face when Frase asks him out to dinner and there's Ray going nuts all over the bad guys and there's thigh and calf touching and...

Admittedly I'm pretty new to the fandom, but I'm going to second the MotB idea. Although that may just be because those were the episodes that got me 'shipping them in the first place.
