I noticed that you are all very busy creating wallpapers (and that's a wonderful thing!), so I decided to make some myself. Could someone maybe give me advice on how to do it, especially which program you use?

Well, I used Photoshop but I think almost any program that lets you crop, resize and paste (at minimum) will allow for basic wallpapering.

Photopro, etc.

Hee! There's quite a few programs out there... The big names of the graphics world are Paint Shop Pro and Photoshop (and both of these have different variations). Personally, I use Paint Shop Pro 8 and while it took forever to learn I've been very happy with all the things it can do.

My advice is to visit both the PSP site (http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite?pagename=Corel3/Products/Display&pid=1047025487586) and the Adobe Photoshop (http://www.adobe.com/) site and download the free 30-day trial versions. It'll give you an idea of which program you may prefer.

You can find a huge amount of info here (http://www.livejournal.com/community/icon_tutorial/1027451.html) at [livejournal.com profile] icon_tutorial comparing different programs.

Good luck!
